1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Revview, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. The Service
Revview is a marketplace that connects athletes ("Clients") with independent coaches ("Coaches") for video-based feedback. Revview facilitates the transaction but is not itself a coaching service. Coaches are independent and are not employees or agents of Revview.
3. Credits
Clients purchase credits to submit videos for Revview. Credits are non-refundable except as described in Section 6. Credits expire 9 months after purchase. 1 credit is valued at $4 USD.
4. Submissions
Videos must be under 15 minutes in length. Short videos (under 5 minutes) cost 2 credits. Long videos (5–15 minutes) cost 5 credits. Credits are reserved at the time of submission and charged upon delivery.
5. Coach Obligations
Coaches agree to provide honest, good-faith feedback within a reasonable timeframe and are responsible for the feedback they give. Coaches receive a portion of each credit charged (net of platform fees) paid out on the last Friday of every month.
6. Refunds and Disputes
Clients may cancel a pending submission (before a coach begins the Revview) for a full credit refund. For delivered Revviews, clients may contact Revview to dispute the Revview. Refunds are granted at Revview's sole discretion after reviewing the dispute.
7. Prohibited Content
You may not submit videos containing nudity, violence, illegal activity, or content that violates the rights of others. Revview reserves the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate this policy.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of videos you upload. By submitting a video, you grant Revview and the assigned Coach a limited licence to view and annotate the content for the purpose of delivering your Revview.
9. Nature of Video Feedback & Assumption of Risk
Revviews are based only on what is visible and audible in the video you submit. Camera angle, distance, lighting, video quality and the moments you choose to record all limit what a Coach can see, so feedback may be incomplete or may not apply to your situation. A Coach cannot physically assess you, and a Revview is not medical, physiotherapy or other health advice. If you have an injury, pain or a medical condition, consult a qualified health professional before acting on any feedback. Sport and physical training carry an inherent risk of injury. You choose whether and how to apply any feedback, and you do so at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
Revview is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revview is not liable for the quality, accuracy or results of coaching feedback, for any injury or loss arising from acting on feedback, for loss of data, or for any indirect damages arising from use of the platform.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email address), videos and notes you submit, and payment information processed through Stripe. We do not store card details — all payment data is handled by Stripe.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the platform, process payments, facilitate video Revviews between clients and coaches, and communicate with you about your account and submissions.
3. Video Content
Videos you upload are stored securely via Mux and are accessible only to you and the coach assigned to your submission. We do not sell or share your video content with third parties.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We store a record of credit purchases and earnings but do not have access to your full card number or bank account details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the platform (Supabase for database and file storage, Mux for video, Stripe for payments).
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Videos are retained for 9 months after upload, then removed at the end of that month. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
7. Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us through the platform.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and row-level security in our database. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong password.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via your dashboard.
