How coach star ratings and Super Coach status work

Build your star rating

Clients rate every Revview, and your star rating reflects how you're doing over time. Coaches with consistently top ratings earn the Super Coach badge.

Ratings that fall below 3 stars trigger a check-in. Coaches who don't improve are paused.

Response time: Faster responses within your 36-hour window earn more stars.

Feedback quality: Clients rate how helpful your Revview was after watching it.

Consistency: Consistently top ratings earn Super Coach status.

Requirements and standards for Revview coaches

How coaches excel on the platform

Deliver direct submissions within 36 hours, and queue videos within 4 hours of claiming them. Each missed deadline costs a star; a direct Revview delivered within 12 hours earns a half-star bonus.

Maintain a star rating above 3.0. Consistently strong feedback keeps your account active and visible to clients.

If your rating dips below the threshold, we reach out and give you time to bounce back before anything changes.

Coaches with consistently top ratings earn Super Coach status: priority visibility and recognition as one of our top coaches.

Common questions

Is there a right way to use the video editor?

There's no required combination of tools. Pick what gets your point across fastest: text, audio, video, circling, or a walkthrough. It's your call.

I understand text, audio and video, but what is Walkthrough?

Walkthrough is live narration with your mouse visible on screen, not tied to one moment. Instead of dropping a marker at a single point, you record yourself talking while you play, pause or move through the client's video, so they can follow your thinking in real time.

How long does the application review take?

About 15 minutes to apply. We personally review every application and respond within 1-3 business days.

What sports do you support?

Right now: personal training. We're adding more sports as we grow.

What happens if I miss a deadline?

You lose a star from your rating, and the video moves on to another coach. A queue video not delivered within 4 hours of claiming goes back to the queue, and any notes you made on it are deleted. A direct submission not delivered within 36 hours moves to the queue. Go 14 days without a miss and the star comes back. After 5 missed deadlines, your account is paused.

What if a client is unhappy with my Revview?

Clients rate every Revview with stars and can leave a comment, so that's usually the first place it shows up. In rarer cases a client can file a formal dispute, which is reviewed case-by-case by a real human on our team. If it's upheld, the client's credits are refunded and the payout for that Revview is removed. If we reject it, nothing changes on your end.

Can clients request me directly, or is everything through the queue?

Both. Clients can submit straight to you, or you can claim submissions from the shared queue.

Can I coach part-time, or set my own hours?

Yes. There's no scheduling and no minimum hours. You can turn your availability on or off anytime from your dashboard.

Is there a minimum payout?

No minimum. Whatever you've earned is paid out on the last Friday of every month, via Stripe or, in countries Stripe doesn't cover, PayPal.

I'm in a country Stripe doesn't cover. How do I get paid?

Through PayPal. You'll need your own PayPal account (free, and a personal account is fine), and you add the email you log in to PayPal with in your coach profile. Earnings are sent in US dollars on the last Friday of each month, and you can move them to your bank from PayPal. PayPal may charge its own currency conversion or withdrawal fees.

Do I need special equipment?

Any device with a webcam and a mic works.
